The following specialists used during the previous stages may be called upon for additional services within the construction phase of the project.

Quanitity surveyor: Quantity surveyors may be required during the construction phase on more complicated projects to assist with the valuation of works during contract administration and to assist the Contract Administrator with interim payments

Structural engineer: A structural engineer may be required during the construction phase to examine and investigate areas of existing structure that have become accessible following commencement of works. A structural engineer may also be required to make amendments to designs and provide structural reports.
